Normando is a Brazilian brand, originating in the Amazon, that produces ready-to-wear collections, accessories, and bespoke pieces, designed by stylist Marco Normando, the brand's creative director.

A fashion graduate from the University of the Amazon with 10 years of experience in the fashion market, Marco Normando worked in the style department of Alexandre Herchcovitch's brand before opening Normando, where he learned a great deal about tailoring techniques and finishes.

Working alongside Marco is visual artist and publicist Emídio Contente, also a graduate of the University of the Amazon and a partner in the brand. He conducts research from collection conception to the way pieces are presented to the public.

Marco Normando and Emídio Contente are from Belém do Pará, in the heart of the Amazon. And it is from the Amazon that the duo draws upon their experiences for references in their pieces and collections, as well as sustainable raw materials from the forest, such as Amazonian latex, as a substitute for animal leather, and jarina, a forest seed that is carved and substitutes for animal ivory.

In 2022, Normando was one of the Brazilian brands celebrated in the first edition of "Vogue Celebra" promoted by Vogue Brasil/Globo Condé Nast.
